Louise Grondin
Ms. Grondin retired in January 2021 as Senior Vice President People and Culture at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, after almost twenty years with the company.
During her tenure she occupied various senior leadership positions in HSE, community relations, communication and HR. Prior to that, she spent eight years in HSE and HR at the Selbaie Mine (Billiton Canada) and twelve years in various engineering positions at Ontario Hydro. She holds a B. Sc. in Physics from the University of Ottawa, an M. Sc. from McGill University and completed her Mechanical Engineering curriculum at the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Quebec Ordre des Ingénieurs, of the Ontario Professional Engineers and a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. She sits on the board of Champion Iron, Wesdome Gold Mines, and the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame.
